Tone AI provides Pilates workouts, meal logging and nutrition estimates. This policy explains information stored on your device and information processed by service providers when you use online features.
Your profile preferences, goals, workout history, weight entries, saved meals and meal photos are stored locally by the app. Tone AI does not require you to create a personal account. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings.
Before your first AI analysis, Tone AI asks permission to send the food photo or meal description you choose through Google Firebase to OpenAI. These providers process the request to return estimated food names, calories, ingredients and nutrients. Requests also include your analysis-speed preference and app language. The app does not include your profile, birth year, weight history or full photo library in these requests.
Our meal-analysis function does not save submitted food photos, descriptions or AI responses to a server database, and it does not intentionally include meal content in application logs. The OpenAI request disables response storage. This does not eliminate service-provider processing or security retention; the providers' data-handling and retention policies apply.
You can decline AI analysis and continue to use workouts and manual saved-meal entry. To withdraw permission for future requests, turn off AI Meal Analysis in Settings. Photos are accessed only when you use the camera or select an image.
Firebase App Check and Apple's App Attest help verify requests from the app. Google/Firebase and OpenAI process technical information necessary to operate and secure their services, such as IP addresses, request timing, app/device attestation information, errors and service usage. Network requests use HTTPS. OpenAI credentials are kept on the server, outside the app.
Apple processes subscription payments. RevenueCat helps the app check purchases, restore access and manage subscription entitlements using an app user identifier and purchase/subscription information. Tone AI does not receive your payment-card details. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; manage subscriptions in your Apple account settings.
Where available, Apple Search Ads attribution is provided to RevenueCat to understand which Apple advertising campaigns lead to installs and subscriptions. Meal and fitness records are not included in attribution requests.
When you play an embedded YouTube exercise video, YouTube processes the technical and playback information associated with that use under Google's privacy policy.
These providers process information for the service functions described above and apply their published data-protection terms. Processing may occur outside your country.
Local records remain until you remove them in the app or delete the app and its data. Remove device or cloud backups separately if needed. Provider records, such as subscription transactions and security logs, follow provider retention rules and applicable obligations. Information is used to deliver the features you request, verify app integrity and manage subscriptions. Tone AI does not use meal or fitness information for advertising or sell that information.
